1. What time does the first Singapore race commence?

The following are the approximate race timings:
Night Race: 1st Singapore race commences at about 6.20pm and ends at about 10.00pm
Afternoon Race: 1st Singapore race commences at about 12.50pm and ends at about 6.00pm
All races are held at 1/2 hour intervals. For an up-to-date race timing, you may check our Race Cards (link here) available closer to date.

 

2. What are the operating hours at the Racecourse?

Gates and Ticketing Counters open 1.5 hours before Race 1 to end of last race and Tote Counters open 1/2 hour before Race 1 to end of last race. Please check the Race Cards (link here) for each specific venue and race day.

 

3. Are there any age restrictions to the Racecourse?

Guests must be 18 years old and above to enter the Racecourse.

 

4. What are the admission options?

Option A: Duo Package*Recommended
Duo Package which is available on Friday evenings & Sunday afternoons (except for selected racedays), and few Tuesday evenings at S$118.00 nett for every two persons and at S$89.70 for an additional one person.

Package includes:

  • A pair of admission tickets to the Victory Lounge
  • A choice of Western or Asian set meal with coffee/tea for 2 persons
  • 2 copies of race guide
  • A glass of beverage per person (wine/beer/juices/soft drinks)
  • Meet & Greet Service upon arrival
  • Tour of the Parade Ring and Presentation Area (Optional)

Option B: Victory Lounge
This is a walk-in ticket purchase at the Lobby. Victory Lounge located at Level 3 Grandstand. The Lounge is equipped with full dining and bar facilities, ample betting counters and a personal television screen at selected tables giving racegoers a close up view of the races. The admission tickets are available at $30.00 nett per person and can be purchased from the Tourist Ticketing Counters (located at the Owners’ Lobby and MRT Plaza on the raceday itself. For payment of admission tickets, cash and credit cards(Visa/MasterCard/Amex) are accepted. Food and Beverage Services will be on an ala-Carte basis.

Option C: Public Grandstand
The Public Grandstand is air-conditioned with ample TV screens and betting counters located within. Admission tickets are available at $6 (EZ-Link Card/CashCard) per person or $8 (Cash Ticket) per person and can be purchased from the Automated Ticketing Kiosk located beside the gantry at MRT Plaza or Grandstand Plaza.

5. Is there car parking available?

The following provides a summary of the parking charges:

Vehicle Monday to Thursday
Raceday: 9am to till the last race
Non-raceday: 9am to 5pm
Friday to Sunday or Public Holiday*
9am to till the last race
Motorcycle $1 per entry $1 per entry
Car $3 per entry $6 per entry

* when racing is scheduled on a Public Holiday.

Parking charges will be deducted upon entry using NETS CashCard or Autopass card only. Vehicles parked outside designated areas will be clamped.

 

6. Is there public transport available to the Racecourse?

MRT: The Kranji MRT station is located adjacent to the MRT Plaza entrance of the racecourse. MRT trains operate at regular intervals and the MRT network connects the racecourse to major areas of Singapore.

Bus: SBS 160, 170, SMRT Bus 178, 925, 960 and 961 ply along Woodlands Road and stop in front of the Kranji MRT station.

 

7. Is there an ATM at the Racecourse?

Please note that there are no ATMs on course so please make any necessary withdrawals before arrival.

 

8. Is there a Dress Code?

9. Is there WIFI at the Racecourse?

Yes, WIFI is available at the Racecourse.

 

10. Are there any lockers at the Racecourse?

Lockers are available at the MRT Plaza and Grandstand Plaza.
